Vintage Akai Model M-8 Reel to Reel Tube Amp Tape Recorder selling This is being sold as-is for parts and or repair. Here is what I have tested. The power turns power turns on on both upper and lower. I was able to thread tape and get it to play, but it is just static. The tape is in pretty bad shape. I can see the tubes lit up and they are in one of the images. The counter works. The VU meters light up. I tried to plug a Microphone i have into it. I wasn't able to get any signal, no sound, VU meters didn't move.
